Join Us for the VR Realtor® Success Rally! – Addison County Board of Realtors®

VR will host its first Realtor® Success Rally on October 26-27 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington. This rally is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events in VR’s history! The lineup of speakers reads like a who’s who of the real estate industry.

The rally will kickoff with a keynote address by Debbie Holloway. Debbie is part of the Tom Ferry coaching team and comes to us with a track record of success and a passion for helping to motivate her audience to achieve their goals.

Following Debbie’s keynote, NAR’s Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun will present his economic forecast for real estate. Day one will proceed with a continuing education class to help attendees learn pricing strategies for today’s sellers. Another CE class will target commercial Realtors® or those interested in commercial real estate. Three non-CE breakout sessions will also take place during the afternoon. These breakout sessions aim to provide attendees with tools for success. Learn how to build your business using LinkedIn, or attend a breakout session to help you gain insights into Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®) and the tools available to help you better serve your clients. A third breakout session will be presented by the founder of BombBomb, technology that helps you build better client relationships through video email.

The first day of the rally will also include an Exhibitor Showcase. The showcase will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the services and products available to you as a real estate professional.

The VR Awards of Distinction Dinner will feature the winners of the VR 2016 Realtor® of the Year, Good Neighbor and Lifetime Achievement Awards. NAR President Tom Salomone will be on hand to present this year’s awards and to share his insights as NAR’s current leader.

Rally – Day 2

Day two of the rally will feature The Future is Now, a dynamic, fast-paced panel discussion by key industry leaders. The panel will include Brad Inman, CEO of Inman News; Suzanne Mueller, Senior Vice-President of Move (realtor.com®); Austin Allison, CEO and Founder of dotloop; Dale Ross, CEO of Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®); and Alex Lange, CEO of Upstream. The panel will be moderated by 2011 NAR President, Ron Phipps. VR’s Annual Meeting and Installation of its 2017 officers will take place during our luncheon. Following the luncheon, we’ll hear from New York Times Best Selling Author, Jeannette Walls. Jeannette’s memoir, The Glass Castle, has been a New York Times bestseller for more than six years. A movie adaption of Jeannette’s memoir is currently being produced by Paramount and will feature Brie Larson, Naomi Watts, and Woody Harrelson.

The event will close with Marki Lemons-Ryhal, who will lead a CE class on the Unethical and Unlawful Use of Facebook.
